The 2008 Tiffany Awards

In its sixth year, the Tiffany Michigan Hairdresser of the Year Awards celebrates the artistic mastery of hairdressing by recognizing Michigan’s most astounding hairdressers and colorists. Professionals take creativity to a new level by executing visionary concepts that intrigue and define fashion. The mission of the Tiffany Awards is to expose the brilliance of hairdressing to the consumer and professional community while featuring DREAMS, a benefit for the American Cancer Society (ACS).

Award finalists and winners were announced at DREAMS, held at the Rock Financial Showplace in Novi, Michigan on September 20, 2008. All proceeds from DREAMS go to ACS to fund cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services. The Nailco Group has raised over 1 million for ACS since its inception.

Winners receive stunning crystal trophies designed by Tiffany & Co as tribute to their extraordinary talent. Categories include Color, Formal, Women’s Editorial, Avant Garde and Michigan Hairdresser of the Year. A high-energy fashion show is woven around the award presentation leading up to the riveting live event for Michigan Hairdresser of the Year in an “Oscars meets American Idol” stylized competition.
