About the Tiffany Awards

This year, tng worldwide (TNG) celebrates its eighth year presenting the Tiffany Hairdresser of the Year Awards. The 2010 Tiffany competition encompasses an innovative approach to fashion, hairstyle and entertainment. The competition leads up to one fabulous night of live stage performances showcasing the latest in fashion and trends for the season, all to benefit the American Cancer Society (ACS).

Created by TNG, The Tiffany Hairdresser of the Year Awards celebrates the artistic mastery of hairdressing by recognizing the nation’s most outstanding hairdressers and Kemon & TIGI colorists. This year, the competition heats up as Tiffany goes national. Receiving a Tiffany award has been a standard of industry excellence in Michigan. Now, the prestige of winning is even greater as the best hairdressers from across the 50 states bring their talents to Tiffany. A high-energy fashion show is woven around the award presentation leading up to the riveting main event to name the Hairdresser of the Year. In an “Oscars meets American Idol” stylized competition, three national finalists compete live for top honors.

Professionals take creativity to a new level by executing visionary concepts that intrigue and define fashion. Judges looks for individuals whose work demonstrates their abilities of innovative ideas with a making it happen attitude. Tiffany is the only program of its type in the U.S. offering hairdressers the opportunity to showcase their work and possibly walk away with the coveted title. We encourage you to enter one or all categories. Winning a Tiffany award is prestigious, elevates your career, recognizes your talent, and most of all, brings enjoyment to you and those who support you.

Winners receive stunning crystal trophies as tribute to their extraordinary talent. Categories include Color, Formal, Women’s Editorial, Avant Garde, Salon Team (new this year) and Hairdresser of the Year. Join us for cocktails and dinner as we announce the finalists and award winners in five photographic categories. Before the night is over, the hairdresser that proves they always Make It Happen will walk away with the coveted title of Hairdresser of the Year, 2010.

Award finalists and winners will be announced at the Tiffany Awards Banquet, held at Andiamo Celebrity Showroom of Warren on October 3, 2010. All net proceeds from Tiffany go to ACS to fund cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services. As a Five-Star Investor and National Corporate Team Sponsor for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, TNG has raised more than $1.5 million to date for ACS.
