Are you part of a winning salon team?

The winning Salon Team consists of three stylists with a winning attitude, focus on advanced education, a fabulous salon image, and proof that they are leaders in the industry. This will be demonstrated by providing photographic evidence that the entire team has strong technical and creative skills in each of the three main categories, Color, Formal and Women’s Editorial. Team must submit one photo for each category.

Team photos will be judged as a collection and should be created as an entire collection of work. Scores will be based on the technical and creative excellence of each entry (cut, color and style) and how well the collection is put together. Team must work together in the salon during the Call for Entries process through the awards banquet to qualify.

Avant Garde challenges you to create a “stop them in their tracks” look that pushes the boundaries of fashion, creating wearable art. Avant Garde makes a statement with cutting edge cut and style featuring strong contrasts, extreme color and finishing.

The classic looks that adorn the covers of Vogue, Cosmo and InStyle. Women’s Editorial combines both fashion and hair to create the ultimate "I want it" image. Prepare to impress every woman in the U.S.A. with this look.

The look women seek for galas, charity events, weddings and special nights out on the town. This is crème'-de-la-crème' for salons, as only skilled artists can create updo's that incorporate curls, twists, add-ons and just the right touch to complement the face and makeup.

The look is hip, befitting Hollywood's award shows, red carpet and glamorous celebrities. Color is all about drama, turning heads and that award winning style.Think color, shine and texture - most of all think fashion.
